Breaking: Nansy Reunites After 20 Years for Debut Album

Oslo’s Nansy—silent since the early 2000s—reunites after two decades to release *Need You Around*, their long-awaited debut album. Initially known for a jangly, sun-drenched indie pop sound akin to The Sundays or The Cardigans, the band released only one EP before disbarring members pursued solo paths. Their return revives a beloved local sound, offering fans closure and new listeners a rediscovered gem with fresh polish and nostalgic charm.

The band split up after just one EP release and spent the intervening years pursuing other projects, however, they recently reunited to finally record their first full-length debut, Need You Around.
